Jackson Davis PTA is gearing up for our 2nd annual Direct Donation campaign - The Dolphin Fund.  Direct Donation is just that - a donation made directly to the Jackson Davis PTA and 100% of the proceeds benefit the school and students.  The donations are tax deductible and some companies offer matching gifts (matching gift depends on the company and typically requires a minimum contribution).

The PTA's goal this year is to raise $8000 (slightly higher than last year).  All money raised by the PTA benefits the school and ultimately the students!  The PTA funds go to subsidize field trips, coordination of in school assemblies, grade level socials, the Accelerated Reader program and awards, and much, much more!!! 
If you would like to participate, the minimum donation is $1.00 (participation is voluntary).  Just think, if a contribution of $13 or more was made for every student at Jackson Davis, we could achieve our goal! 

The FALL fundraising campaign will run between August - October 31, 2010.  Each family who participates will receive a Dolphin branded item and IF we reach our goal of $8000, all of the students will receive a special treat AND the PTA will not have to sponsor a traditional fundraiser later in the year!  

There will be a table set up for the Dolphin Fund during Back to School Night!  Stop by and see what the Dolphin Fund is all about!
