Dear Jackson Davis parents:
Becoming a room parent is a rewarding way to participate in your child's school experience. you will have a lot
of fun getting to know your child's teacher, other parents, and friends! Each classroom will have 2 room parents
who will work together with the teacher to plan classroom events throughout the year.
A room parent is responsible
for meeting with the classroom teacher at the beginning of they ear to discuss the class activities and special events for
the year and then soliciting volunteers within the classroom to help with the events.
If you are interested in
becoming a room parent, please complete the form that will be sent home in your child's folder OR complete the online
form below. The deadline to submit is Friday, September 17.
If more than 2 parents volunteer for a class,
the parents will be chosen at random. Any additional volunteers will be kept on file in case the need arises during
the school year.
